If you are planning on traveling solo and you have some doubts, you can start on this page and find some answers from fellow solo travelers

I would start with deciding what destination you want to visit and do some research about things to do, safety tips and how to move around. Browse some booking sites to check if the prices are within your budget and once you decide they are, start planning your visit and booking.

The first concern about traveling solo is safety and with a reason. As a solo female wandering the world alone, we become more vulnerable. However, there are many safety tips and tricks to follow that will help you stay safe and travel items that will give you peace of mind. Remember to be social but not naive.

There are many places where you can connect with other female travelers. One of them is our Facebook Group or you can join retreats or solo female group tours. These are great ways to meet like-minded travelers.

To be completely honest I am an introvert and therefore I love to be on my own and never look to make friends. However, there are many ways to make friends when traveling on your own. You can stay in a hostel, or join group tours for example. Or you can connect with other travelers on dedicated Facebook pages related to the destination.

I need to write a full post about it, but I usually make sure I have fully charged batteries for my iPad and headphones so I can read, or I download a movie or two to kill time. I bring at least 2 litres of water to drink on the plane and some healthy snacks. But I also love to indulge in junk food when I am traveling. 😉
